I recently visited this hotel and tried the Fish Thali it was really good. We also tried the Veg Thali, which was equally nice. They serve vadas along with the thali, which go well with sabji or chicken. I also tried their Karwas, and it was awesome. Overall, the food tastes great and the service is good too. So many actors visited this restaurant since 90's

Overhyped and Overrated! This place is pure hype and nothing else. It's still basking in its old-world reputation, but the charm has long faded. Don't be fooled by the long queues outside; they're absolutely not worth it. The service was shockingly rude. When I asked for a simple fresh lime soda, the waiter brushed me off, saying the hotel "didn't have time to make it." The food, too, was utterly disappointing -- bland, tasteless, and nowhere close to the reputation this place seems to ride on. Before we could even finish our meal or catch our breath, the same waiter came over and rudely asked us to leave! We hadn't even taken out our wallets to pay. When I checked the bill, I noticed we were charged for bottled water we never ordered. Upon pointing it out, he casually said, "What's the big deal? It's just 20 rupees. It can be easily deducted from the total amount." Honestly, that sums up the attitude here: careless, arrogant, and completely lacking basic hospitality. Save yourself the trouble and your money; even a small roadside dhaba would treat you with more respect and serve better food.

I had never tried kombdi wade before, and I tasted it for the first time at Hotel Abhishek -- along with prawns rawa fry -- and honestly, the hotel won my heart! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked. Truly impressive -- lay bhari! Highly recommended for anyone who loves kokani cuisine.

One of the very famous restaurant in Chiplun. They are famous for fishes and non veg serving of authentic Kokani food. Had food here multiple times and love to visit again. Food is tasty, specifically fishes. Their prices are comparatively less, but it may be due to quantity. Some pf them may vary based on Fish sizes. Atmosphere is good, you will find lot of pictures of celebrities who had visited here. They have ample space for sitting, still can be crowded during pick hours. Parking can be bit issue, they have parking space but due to number of people visits here, its not sufficient. Washrooms are limited and they can think of having more, specifically for ladies. A must visit place in Chiplun.

This restaurant was recommended by a lot of people for having the most authentic and fresh fish menu. We tried the Surmai Fish Thali and the Veg Thali and I would say the taste was decent but definitely not the best. I've had better in Konkan. Surmai Fish Thali - 450. The fish tasted fresh so full marks for it. The fish fry was not masaledar so that may not suit certain tastebuds. Veg Thali - 250. The veg thali had a slightly more variety in comparison to Non-veg. Portion size for both the thali was sufficient for one person. The service is a little slow since they prepare upon receiving the order and it takes around 25-30 mins to serve.
