Lumuma Cafe

Personal food heaven in india for non indian vegan food. Came back two times in two days. Tempeh Tacos, Pesto Pasta, Coffee and Choc Coco Cake are amazing. Lasagne was yum. Snickers cake is okayish, could use some improvment. The only bummer was the Pizza, this dough is awful and the topping not tasty. Please improve or take it from the menu. Otherwise fantastic place with super nice staff!

I visited this vegan cafe and initially thought the menu was great -- a wide range of dishes with good variety. However, I was really disappointed by how they treated the local street dogs outside. For a vegan cafe, I expected more compassion. While I was feeding and giving water to a few hungry, thirsty dogs, a staff member actually shoved one dog's head into the water bowl I'd brought so it would drink faster -- clearly wanting me to finish up and leave. It wasn't closing time, and I was made to feel very unwelcome simply for showing kindness to animals. It's sad to see a place that promotes vegan values showing so little empathy toward real animals in need. I hope they reflect on this and become more mindful in the future.

I had a wonderful experience at this fully plant-based restaurant. I only ordered a coffee, but the service I received from Gopal was outstanding. He took the time to explain the different plant-based milk options like soy and coconut, and his knowledge and experience really stood out. The way he presented everything was professional and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Truly excellent service--I'll definitely be coming back!

My favorite eating place on Varcala cliff so far! All vegan with so many tasty options. The view on the ocean from the top floor is amazing. Staff always smiling! A little pricier than other places, but totally worth it. They also accept international cards, which makes things easy. Wish there were more places like this!

We went to the cafe for dessert, and the food was amazing! We had chocolate mousse cake, Snickers, ice cream and sundae - all their desserts are healthy and wholesome. The only downside is that prices are on the higher side. They also have beautiful and well maintained grounds.
