The Coffee Temple offers a wide range of drinks at better prices than any other shop on the cliff, without compromising on taste. While the dine-in space is a bit limited compared to other cafes, it's still the best budget-friendly option I found in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for good coffee at a great price.
Their iced americano with coconut milk was my go to order. Had at least one every day I was in Varkala. They're very sweet, the coffee is good and the view is great. Not a lot of seating but the hospitality makes up for it. Occasionally they have a dog or two hanging about, which I loved.
I stopped by this small cafe on top of the Varkala cliff for a quick break. While they offer a variety of snacks and hot/cold drinks, the ambiance for sitting and relaxing is lacking. However, I appreciated the availability of tender coconut, which was a refreshing option to beat the sun. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I didn't get to try their snacks. Overall, it's an average small setup, suitable for a quick pit stop rather than a leisurely hangout spot.
