Staying at Sheela Homestay was more like staying with family than at a guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the hosts greeted us with warm smiles and offered a refreshing drink. The room was spotless, with comfortable bedding and good airflow.
The bathroom was clean, with hot water and fresh towels. Breakfast was homemade and delicious I particularly loved the local spices in the vegetable curry and the fresh fruit.
The location is peaceful, just a short walk from shops and bus stops, yet far enough to avoid noisy traffic. The view from the veranda in the morning was beautiful, with green hills in front.
I felt very well taken care of, and the hosts also helped me with directions to local attractions and even arranged a local guide. For the price, this stay was excellent value.

The food quality here is very poor, and the mess is not clean. Birds often come and eat from the food that is served on the tables for everyone, which is very unhygienic. The taste of the food, especially for lunch and dinner, is disappointing. Breakfast is comparatively better, but overall, the meals are not up to the mark. Cleanliness and food quality need serious improvement.
