Had travelled to Ernakulam some time back with friends, and we stopped at MAA Hotel for lunch. We tried their pothichoru and regular meals -- both were really good! The food tasted authentic and homely. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was courteous and quick. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying Kerala-style meal. Highly recommended if you're passing through!

One of the best restaurants in Thiruvalla, this place stands out for its housekeeping, hygiene, and the wide variety of dishes available. I tried the chicken dum biryani -- the taste was just okay. The disappointments were the lack of proper parking facilities, the long waiting time for food (around 30 minutes), and the price, which I felt was overrated. However, the customer service was very good, and overall, I liked this restaurant.

Had lunch at Maa Hotels, Thiruvalla, recently. We tried the Kizhi Biriyani and Prawns Pepper Fry. The food was okay-nothing mind-blowing, but decent. The flavors were mild, and while the portion sizes were reasonable, the dishes didn't leave a lasting impression. That said, the ambience was neat and clean, and the staff were very courteous and well-behaved, which made the overall dining experience pleasant. The place is definitely well-maintained. A lot of customers seem to appreciate the interior space, air conditioning, and overall hygiene, and I'd agree. It's comfortable for families or small groups. Parking might be a bit tight during peak hours, but it's manageable. From what I've seen online and heard from others, dishes like their beef items and seafood chatti choru get more praise, so I might try those if I visit again. Overall, it's a decent spot in Thiruvalla if you're looking for a clean, calm place with courteous service. While I found the taste of what I tried to be average, it could be a hit or miss depending on the dish you choose. Worth a visit, especially for the service and atmosphere.

MAA Restaurant. The taste that the name implies. They provide a food experience full of mother's handiwork. The Maa Hotel in Thiruvalla is located on the MC Road, on the way to Kottayam after the Thiruvalla bypass. There is a convenient parking facility. We had dinner. Chicken lollipop, beef fry, chicken masala, neemeen masala, fish finger chips were delicious. We ate Kerala porotta, chapati, naan, and "Kallappam" (kllllppN). kllllppN also provided a very diverse taste. Neemeen masala seemed very expensive. Everything else can be said to be priced according to the quality. Enough space is provided to accommodate very large parties. A great place for travelers as the toilets and the restaurant are maintained hygienically. The rating goes like this Food taste & quality:- 4/5 Cleanliness & tidiness:-4/5 Service:-4/5 Parking & accessibility:-4/5
