Wonderful beach to cherish & enjoy the sunset. There are many food carts available so family & children can enjoy. Also now Kerala Govt has put a walkway around the beach so people can sit, relax & enjoy among their loved ones. Those who wants to take a sea breeze & also can enjoy the evening & morning walk.

Thalassery Beach has the potential to be a stunning destination with its beautiful coastal views and unique charm. The natural scenery is definitely a highlight -- the sea is vast, the waves are calming, and sunsets can be truly breathtaking. However, the beach lacks proper maintenance. The cleanliness and upkeep leave a lot to be desired, which takes away from the overall experience. The black sand, while interesting, tends to be very gummy and sticky, making it uncomfortable to walk on or relax. With better development -- including regular cleaning, basic amenities, and perhaps a few eco-friendly attractions -- this beach could easily become a top tourist spot in North Kerala. For now, it's a place with scenic beauty but untapped potential.
