We were craving a vegetarian lunch after coming to Mahe and we were very grateful for this place ,where we went for lunch after visiting the Thiruvengadu Sri rama temple in the morning. We were a little early for lunch, but the restaurant had started serving lunch. The lunch was tasty and the manager was courteous.
Hidden Gem A real authentic Brahmin food in town. Kadala Curry was excellent. Masala Dosa really wee done and Sambar is Kerala style so it is okay in taste. Please do not expect madras sambar taste. Over all excellent and highly recommended.
AVOID THIS PLACE AND AVOID TALASERRY. If you want to eat good and healthy food. Go to Kannur and eat at Pallavi or Krishna Beach Resort. It's very sad and painful to give low ranking to a rare vegetarian restaurant. Talaserry is hyped for food. Truth can be far off. Talaserry is one of the worst place on earth to eat any food. Finding vegetarian places is hard, there is just Muslim owned meat places all around. No option for vegetarians at all. Highly disappointed every time I came to Talaserry. VEGETARIANS AVOID TALASERRY
Brahmins Restaurant offers reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food served. Considering the authentic flavors and the overall dining experience, it represents good value for money.
Simple vegetarian meals...it was interesting to note that the owner and his wife were taking lunch - same menu supplied for customers... it boosted my confidence that food is safe...
