Lafair

I recently visited Lafair Restaurant in Thalassery with my mother. We ordered Kerala Porotta, Chicken Manchurian, Mixed Fried Rice, along with a Watermelon Juice and Lemon Tea. All the items tasted great -- the porotta was crispy yet soft and fluffy, and the Chicken Manchurian was flavorful and well-balanced. My mother especially loved the taste of the Mixed Fried Rice. The staff was really helpful and attentive, which made the experience even better. While the pricing is slightly on the higher side, the quality, taste, and service definitely make up for it. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dining experience in Thalassery.

We visited LaFair on a Sunday for Lunch. There was no crowd so it was easy to find a seat. I'd been here before and there was no rush then also. We ordered some Mandi and Soups First of all, the food; was great. We had Lebanese Chicken Mandi and Malabar Spicy Chicken Mandi. I personally have no complaints, it was okay. The soup, Nadan beef soup, was delicious . Don't buy the chicken one, this was just wow. I'd say, buy beef ribs Mandi, I didn't have it but they were recommending it but I was worried about the meat quantity. If you're planning to eat a proper meal, try it. It shouldn't disappoint. On to the worst part, service. The waiter never came to us even though only 2-3 tables had customers in them and we had to shout to get attention. Then they took the order, and went again. I don't know why they wouldn't want to serve. We had to finally settle for what we had instead of ordering more. The funny thing was the power went out and we were sitting in the sark for almost 15 seconds. I mean they couldn't afford a backup inverter or something even though the food is expensive. Coming to the price, it was a bit on the higher end, I'd rather go to Raravis or MRA for the same price.

The food was amazing.. kalumakayabiriyani is [mussels] one of the best I have had so far.. highly recommended and the sea food platter is amazing... king fish in mustard sauce is pure heaven...parotta is also fluffy soft and slightly crispy. Prefectly cooked. desserts could do better- vanila milk shake and chocolate mousse were not upto the mark

Me and my family frequently visited restaurant in thalassery, we got amazing food and services also good ambiance here. Really like it.

I must say, the food was exceptionally delicious, and I purchased it as a gift for a special occasion. The recipient thoroughly enjoyed it. Furthermore, their services were truly amazing; they were incredibly kind and provided helpful solutions, especially since I was ordering from abroad.
