IRRESPONSIBLE and BAD SERVICE [ LET YOUR CUSTOMERS KNOW WHEN YOU CANCEL THEIR ORDER SO THEY DONT WAIT HOURS FOR IT AND STARVE THEMSELVES ] Detailed review: This review is regarding the Bytes DERELAKATTE food delivery. I had ordered exactly at 6 pm. The order was confirmed and i waited until 8 pm but the app still said the order was in progress. So i called and enquired the delivery guy from the number provided in the app and he told me he had called me at 6:30 and since i hadn't picked up the call, it got cancelled. My phone hadn't received any calls from them at 6:30 or afterwards but even if they had called and cancelled the order, don't you let the customers know that this has happened ??? What was more infuriating was that it showed in the app that the order was DELIVERED SUCCESSFULLY even though Bytes had cancelled it from their end. Even after the cancellation happened, the app still said ORDER IN PROGRESS and later ORDER DELIVERED SUCCESSFULLY. And there was me who had taken a fast that day and waiting for the order and starving myself. Since i am in a hostel, we have restrictions and I couldn't order anything else afterwards. I have no issue in the order being cancelled, but from the time it was cancelled at around 6:30, I waited until 8 for the call. If the app said that it was out for delivery or that it was cancelled, I could have ordered from somewhere else. And why I didn't call and check earlier was because when my friend earlier ordered through the same delivery service, it had taken 1 and half hour for them to deliver even though the shop was just 400 metres away.

Behavior of delivery boy is very bad .. Once we order food we are the costumers of you.. So behave yourself we as a customer not a begged one.. Okay.. Mind it...

I am wonder about bytes service and hospitality...
