Sreelakshmi Hotel in Ottapalam is a legendary veg hotel that's been around for over 35+ years if iam nit wrong.It's a nostalgic spot for my mom she use to dine there as a child with my grandfather. Our recent visit was a lovely trip down memory lane, with good food.
The restaurant has recently been renovated, and the entire atmosphere has improved. The already good hotel has now become a very good restaurant with a better ambience. They have introduced a new washroom area and a clean, well-maintained toilet section with good furniture and interiors. There is also a separate A/C dining section, which adds to the overall comfort and experience.
One of the best place to have veg food. I had meals. It was delicious that we over filled our tummies. It was budget friendly too. A good place with car parking, clean toilets, ac dining hall, non ac dining hall and separate seating space too.
I am a usual visitor to this restaurant with my family. This review is specific to my visit on 04-10-2025. 1. Atmosphere and seating is pretty hygienic. 2. Gheet roast and Chana Bhatura was great. 3. Uzhunnu vada @5 PM was cold and was not good to have. 4. Mushroom masala curry - tried first time. Was utter nonsense for 100rs. Felt like two mushroom was cut into 20 pieces and inserted into a onion curry. The curry was so sweet that we had to drop eating it half way. Same was communicated to the staff for future improvements.
