Ordered a watermelon juice but i got orange juice and they didn't even try to apologise and they started to argue with me. And the orange juice wasn't fresh. It was full of water and they charge 80/- for that juice. Very bad service. Didn't had any manners and didn't even ready to accept their mistake.
Don't Order Poth Roast, Very Bad. Today (28.03.25), I had visited Ranthal Resturant. Ordered Porotta & Poth Roast. The porotta was very nice but the poth roast was very bad and hardly managed to eat 3 - 4 pieces the rest was very bad meat to eat. Hardly I managed to finish the porotta with gravy. I left the bad meat back in plate for their attention. Both the bearer and owner noticed but didn't asked me why I didn't eat the roast. The bearer in a hurry wrote a bill of 186 and passed to me. I had paid the same and left the hotel. As there is no point in arguments with them. Its better to give a honest review, so that no other person will get this type of worst experience from this hotel. Please make sure to dine at Hotels above 4 stars ratings.
Highly recommended meals at Nedumangad. Had lunch several times. Meals and Chicken Biriyani were very tasty and had good quantity. We will get so many curries (Parippu, Sambar, Pulissery, Kichadi, Achar, Chammanthi, Kappa, Thoran, etc... ) in small plates with the Meals. Also included Payasam. We can have various fish fries or any other non items with it seperately. Chicken Biryani will be served in a pot and the salad and lemon pickle will be served on a green banana leaf. Very customer friendly approach. Atmosphere is clean. Only negative I feel is about parking. We have to park four wheelers beside of the road.
It's not a very great place to dine with family. It's a small restaurant with limited space. Food is not that great, and i have had better tasting food at places nearby. But their price is high when compared to the quality of service and quantity of food. I don't expect to visit again as this is a very normal restaurant with a high price.
A good food spot at kollam. Had a nice experience. Food was literally delicious and the quantity was good too. Seems a bit crowded. Had to wait a couple of minutes to get a table.
