Idly Shop

The Idly Shop is easily the best vegetarian restaurant in Muvattupuzha! Their food is always fresh and full of flavor. Their four kinds of chutneys and sambar served with vada or thattu dosa are just amazing, perfect taste and consistency every time. My absolute favorites are the Chilli Idly and Chilli Paratha, both unique and super tasty. Don't miss their Palkova - it's the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The place is affordable, and has quick service. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves South Indian vegetarian food.

This shop in Muvattupuzha is a really good spot if you're looking for veg food. They've got plenty of options to choose from. We tried the oothappam, dosa, and battura, and everything was served hot and fresh, which I loved. I've eaten here before, and this time I felt the coconut chutney was a bit more watery than it used to be -- not a big deal, just something I noticed. The only small hassle is that parking can be a bit tight, so you might need to squeeze in. Overall, it's a nice place for fresh, tasty vegetarian food.

I had the masala dosa, it tasted good, and the food was very tasty.I bought 2 Uzhunavadas, but the salt is too much and the vadas are too small.The tea has an average taste. There is no parking, parking is extremely difficult, if it's a bike it's ok, where can I park the car?I don't know, The waiters are very active, the sambar and the chutney are good and tasty...

One of the best idlies I have had. We went late night after 8pm, and still it was very crowded. The kitchen is open and you can see them cooking your food. It's fresh and piping hot. I wouldn't suggest the ghee roast doa though. This place is a definite must visit

It's definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic South Indian breakfast in or around Muvattupuzha. The only drawback is its location--it's situated within the town and lacks sufficient parking space, which can be a challenge during peak hours. However, the food more than makes up for this minor inconvenience. Highly recommended for breakfast lovers.
