I had a wonderful experience enjoying authentic traditional food here. The meals were peaceful and satisfying, with so many delicious curries and even payasam to complete the spread. Every dish was full of flavor and reminded me of true homely taste. The staff were polite and very welcoming, which made the dining experience even better. A perfect place to enjoy real traditional food.

Visited Komala on the way back from Guruvayur to Palakkad and had a great experience. It's a well-known bakery with a restaurant upstairs, offering a wide variety of food options. The open kitchen setup allows you to see the preparation process and ensures hygiene, which is impressive. They clearly mention that no Ajinomoto is used in their food. We enjoyed different types of dosa, and their falooda and ice creams were delicious. The freshly baked cakes are also worth trying. Ample parking space is available, well managed by a private security guard. A clean, family-friendly stop for a quick bite or relaxed meal.

I recently visited Komala Pure Veg Restaurant for their ongoing Dosa Fest (Jan 15-31, 2025), featuring an incredible variety of 50 dosa options! I tried the Wheat Butter Masala Dosa and Mushroom Masala Dosa, and both were absolutely delightful. Each dosa had a unique taste, perfectly blending flavors and textures. The highlight for me was the freshness and richness of the ingredients, which made the dosas stand out. I also had their tea, and it was superb--aromatic and refreshing, a perfect companion to the meal. If you're a dosa lover or looking to explore innovative dosa varieties, this festival is a must-visit!

I recently dined at this vegetarian hotel and had a very pleasant experience overall. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. I especially loved the South Indian dishes--the masala dosa was crispy, the sambar had great depth, and the chutneys were delicious.
