Hidden gem for Vegies in aluva. Located near Aluva railway station at a walking distance inside a shopping complex. Visited here multiple times to have breakfast and dinner. Lived up to the expectations each time The go to go dishes includes Ghee roast /masala dosa, Masala dosa, Paneer masala Dosa, Puri set. + Hot tea / filter coffee. ( Long list of Vegie menu available) Swami's is famous for their Authentic Gheemasala dosa and Chole Battura. The sambar & Coconut Chutney provided was one of the best in the city. Please ask for tomato chutney if not provided ( their own secret item, so u have to be lucky to get served ) Consistent and authentic taste is their hallmark. Have some sweets and home made pickles also. Overall - Gheeroast -4/5 Puri -3.5/5 Masala dosa-4/5 Tea/filter coffee-4/5 Needs improvement in staff behaviour. Serves fast but sometimes feels neglected and inattentive. Great authentic vegie food at a reasonable price at a Peaceful atmosphere with good enough parking space.

I visited Swamy's Vegetarian Restaurant to have lunch the last time I was in Aluva. It is apparently famous among the locals and among others who work there. I ordered traditional Kerala meals. The food was good, affordable with a decent selection of curries. But I didn't very much like the service, the ambience was not good and the wash area was average, not tidy enough. But I could adjust to the facilities there. if you ask me I would recommend the restaurant for the good meals they provide at affordable rates.

A good choice for vegetarians, located at a walking distance from Aluva KSRTC Bus Stand and Railway station. I had Masala Dosa, and it was so delicious. The coffee was also tasty. The restaurant is situated inside a shopping complex away from the road side, so you can experience a peaceful atmosphere here. Plenty of parking is also available.

Bad service, worst staff and good food! When I visited, no staff approached me to take my order. Even when I called them, they made me wait for a long time. I left the shop because of the experience. The image I uploaded is from a few days ago. ********** UPDATE *********** Consistency is key--but not always in a good way. Once again, it's good food paired with poor service, just like before. This time I tried the uthappam and porotta. The uthappam alone isn't enough to fill you up. Also, the staff really need better training--they often seem unsure of what to do. Update 2 : Had veg biryani it's very good.

I had heard a lot about this restaurant, and I finally visited it yesterday for breakfast. All the food was tasty and of good quality. I tried the poori and masala dosa--both were delicious. However, the service was just average. Since the restaurant is located inside a large shopping complex, it's not very easy to spot.
