Rasavathi Authentic Veg Cuisine

I love Rasavathi Restaurant in Kannur. It is a really good option for vegetarian food - the food tastes really good and the service is class. Most times i got served by Bala and he is doing really great. It was actually my 5th time there - and not my last. I love all the staff and they give me new reccomodations every day. If you want to have a really good restaurant in Kannur you should go here.

Honestly, one of the best options in kannur for a proper vegetarian, this restaurant serves pure veg food and so those who are allergic to smells or other factors of non veg can definitely come here as there are very limited Good options in kannur. The notable highlight of the restaurant has to be the ambience , the music playing the typically brilliant and unique lighting and the backgrounds is actually really something very unique and definitely worth checking out. There are also notable stuff like live music at times which is a pretty good experience. Coming to the food, the food in itself isint the best, it tastes good but nothing that tells it apart from a typical restaurant that serves both veg and nonveg...u can get the exact same taste of food even there, so don't really go there if u want the best veg food Pricing is decent for most curries but is higher than what u would see in a non-veg restaurant, so yeah not really the best there as well. All in all this place is alright but nothing spectacular or unique about it maybe apart from the ambience which has a bit of a standout. Rating it a solid 3.5/5.

I visited Rasavathi Authentic Veg Cuisine today at G Mall, Kannur, and overall, it was a decent experience with a mix of highs and lows. We ordered a variety of dishes including Masala Dosa, Butter Kulcha, Paneer Dosa, Podi Dosa, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Butter Naan. Most of the items were really tasty--especially the Paneer Tikka Masala and Butter Kulcha, which were flavorful and well-prepared. The Podi Dosa also stood out with its spice and crunch. However, the Masala Dosa was underwhelming--quite average in taste and lacking the punch you'd expect from a place that highlights South Indian cuisine. One major downside was the slow service. During our visit, there was only one staff member handling all the tables, which led to a long wait to place orders and get our food. While the staff was polite and doing his best, the lack of support affected the overall experience. The ambience is clean and peaceful, and the location is easy to access within the mall. Rasavathi has great potential, especially for pure vegetarian lovers, but they seriously need to improve staffing during peak hours.

I visited this restaurant and ordered just a simple meals, but the delivery time was too long -- I had to wait around 16 minutes at the table even though the order was small. The staff also didn't check or ask if I needed any additional items or curry refills, which was disappointing. The taste was just average -- not bad, but definitely not as good as what we usually get at places like Komalavilas or Krishnabavan, which offer better quality and faster service. Overall, there's a lot of room for improvement in both service speed and customer attention.

Great dining option in Kannur. Friendly staff & expert chefs always produce a pleasant experience. Jafna at the reception is super helpful taking orders and ensuring timely receipt of orders. I would highly recommend this restaurant for people looking for tasty vegetarian options in mainly North Indian cuisine alongside the other South Indian options as well.
