We visited Bismi Hotel after reading several positive reviews about their famous mutton dishes, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I tried their Mutton Biriyani, Mutton Perattu with Idiyappam, and Mutton Soup. Sadly, none of the dishes met expectations. The Mutton Biriyani (250) was a total disappointment-- it came with four small pieces of mutton, which felt more like random parts than proper cuts. The rice and masala were bland and lacked the richness you'd expect from a good biriyani. The Mutton Perattu (180) was equally disappointing. The meat was tough and chewy, and the overpowering smell of coriander (malli) masked any real mutton flavor. It just didn't taste like a mutton dish at all. The Mutton Soup was the worst of the lot. It was extremely watery with no aroma or flavor of mutton -- easily one of the most unsatisfying soups I've had in a long time. Overall, none of the dishes had the authentic taste or quality expected from a restaurant known for mutton. It was a total letdown for us. However, the service was polite and professional, which is the only positive I can mention.
