To be honest not eligible for 1 rating also. South Indian meals they are charging Rs 150 but I would say Road side canteen food better than this food. And North Indian thali had just one North Indian curry that too very less quantity. Apart from that there was one tasteless tomato soup, one dal, 2 rotis, jeera rice , plain white rice, Tasteless Sambar and curd rice. No Sweet. the worst ever north Indian thali of my life!! Who gives plain white rice and sambar in a North Indian Thali!! I asked about the sweet, they said sweet comes with Spl Thali and only sweet will be added. Without sweet they are charging Rs 170 Rs. with sweet i think morethan 200 Rs?

One of the decent restaurants in Tumkur. Serving both South and North Indian food from decades. Wish they upped their ambience to match the price. Rava idli wasn't rava idli. Felt like it's a mix of rava idli and rice idli. Their manchurians are almost good every time. Crisp. They should really give a thought about the service. It's quite slow comparatively. Parking is hard to find in that busy main road. Coffee was good.

It's a very old hotel which still gives the best food. Food is very tasty and you get a good quantity to ful your tummy.. As the place had still old chair n table some might not like the place.. but there is no compramise on the taste of food.. The hygiene is not so good like old times. Need rework on kitchen

The food variety is limited, mainly offering South Indian options. The service is very good, and the atmosphere is okay. The best dishes I found were the onion dosa and the neer dosa with coconut sweet. I also recommend trying the Gadbad ice cream. The paneer paratha is made with tandoori flour, but it becomes very hard after some time, making it difficult to chew. In Tumkur, there are very few pure veg options, so this is not a bad choice for a vegetarian restaurant.

Food was great, since it's old restro ambience was kind of old but maintained neatly, tasted panipuri and mixed capcicum curry, both seemed authentic and tasted great. Service was also good, I donno why people have given less ratings.
