Every Tuesday sheep market is held here. It is one of the largest markets in Karnataka. Sheep of all ages and sizes can be bought and sold here.

Great action, lively people. Irony is that most sheep & goat sold here are diseased or old or just too small to be edible. Their largest customer base is the nearest metropolitan areas - chiefly BLR.
