New Tajmahal Cafe - A Familiar Pause Near PVS Circle Visited for a lunch meeting and found the place to be a classic Mangaluru staple--unpretentious, efficient, and rooted in local taste. Menu & Food: The vegetarian thali was simple and satisfying, though notably missing any sweet dish like payasam. Rice, sambar, rasam, palya, curd, pickle, and papad formed the core of the meal. Flavors were homely, portions generous, and service quick. Accessibility & Parking: Located conveniently near PVS Circle. Ample car parking available, which is a relief in this busy area. However, the entrance is not wheelchair-friendly, which may be a concern for some visitors. Ambience: Clean and functional. It's not a place for frills, but it delivers what it promises--good food, fast service, and a sense of familiarity. Captured Moments: I took a few photos to remember the textures of the afternoon--simple steel plates, warm food, and the quiet rhythm of a weekday lunch.
