I noticed many people visit here expecting authentic Coorg cuisine, but honestly, it didn't meet the hype. Most of the crowd seemed to be tourists, and the taste was just average. I tried the Chicken Pepper Dry and Fish Curry--both were underwhelming. I've had much better fish curry and food in Bangalore itself. On top of that, they have only one washroom, and you literally have to stand in a queue to use it. If you're traveling from Bangalore, don't keep your expectations too high.
Food was absolutely wonderful, every dish tasted fantastic! I genuinely enjoyed the flavors and would definitely visit again. I'd also recommend it to others without hesitation. The only downside was the service. The servers seemed to struggle a bit with language understanding and my cold beverage was served at room temperature. Overall, though, it was a good experience and well worth a visit.
The food is not worth the hype. Served cold tastes normal nothing special. Pathetic service we have asked for hot water the ddn serve. Even after informing the owner the didn't serve. Please go to some better restaurant. I'll never go there again ,I'm so disappointed with their service and food . Passion fruit juice and tender coconut pudding was better.
We were team of 10, 4 Non Veg and 6 Veg wards. Top Notch: Veg: Tender Coconut Pudding Dessert. Bamboo Shoot Fry, Ghee Rice and baby Bringjal. Good: Chicken Pepper Dry. Disaster: Halwa, Mutton Fry, Pork Fry and pork Curry. Mutton had 4 pieces of that 3 were not good. 1 Bone, 1 Fat and other was Liver Piece. Pork was totally waste with smaller pieces that doesn't have full meat piece in 2 dishes Fry and Curry. Pork Chops was decent. Overall not that great for the hype and value for money.
Coorg cuisine was anything, but. Went here in a lot of excitement after reading reviews, to try authentic pandhi curry, and other coorg special items, but honestly left a bit disappointed. Pork Ribs - 2/5, mostly just fat, not very good cuts Pandhi Curry - 1/5, was mostly bone, very very less meat. Akki roti - felt burnt and stale. Others in our group ordered chicken and that wasn't very enjoyable too.
