BELLI'S restaurant

This is restaurant in the Madikeri city centre area. The place is average as per its food ambience. Highly understaffed, had almost 1 hour of waiting for a table. So will take time for orders as well. As per its food, its average in taste, quantity is enough for 2 people as per dish. Dynamite chicken is something which is actually good and has a new taste so can be said as a must try. Also the kheema dosa (mutton kheema), chicken option not there for this but that is a must try here. Pork options are also good here, pork chops are a must try here. The akki roti is the authentic dish here, but i found it a but dry than other places. But the combination of akki roti and pork chops is really good. The nool puttu is actually nice with the combination of ghee roast or mughlai chicken. In dessert the caramel custard is good. Must try in dessert here is the Tiramisu, its really good (has rum) Overall good experience. The staff here is very polite.

Hands down the best food I had in Coorg and a contender for one of my fav meals ever. This restaurant came highly recommended from a local and I decided to try it out for my birthday lunch. I ordered the pork chops, chicken ghee roast, akki rotti, kadambuttu and ghee rice. I was in search for some authentic Pandi Curry but ended up ordering the pork chops instead on their recommendation. The pork chops are their own rendition of the Pandi curry and one of the best dishes I have ever had. These are not your ordinary dry and well done chops. These were Juicy, unctuous and succulent pieces of pork chops on the bone. They were cooked only in their own rendered fat. Flavored with the tangy and Smokey kachampuli. A black vinegar made from the garcinia gummi gutta, a tangy berry, indigenous to these parts. Absolutely delicious! I had previously tried some really tasty Pandi curry on my trip, but this totally blew it out of the water. The chicken ghee roast was fiery and delicious, I couldn't get enough. They paired really well with the Akki rotti. The ghee rice was also on point. Caramelized onions, raisins and mild aromatic spices. A great accompaniment to the curries if they are a tad too spicy for your taste buds. Overall a must visit for any foodie in search for some authentic Kodagu flavors. Highly recommend.

A decent place with an aesthetic ambience. Food is so awesome especially their tiramisu must try it is. Except for the Maggie other foods were too good and worth for the money. Must try.

Nice Coorg style food. Their akki roti and pork curry were a great combination. Their pork chops are a must try, and the tiramisu is a must try as well - so boozy! Loved the place as well, they've turned a typical Coorg colonial style home into a restaurant.

Fat pieces were dominating the pork curry.. not authentic but okay.. enjoyed pulled pork Burger and chips. Plain rice was dry and hard,could not eat it with pandi curry. Location is good.. there is slight wait time to get the fable during peak hours. Must be lucky to get parking near the restaurant. Very old house turned into restaurant. Toilets need attention as they are too small and not very clean.
