Utsav Hotel

Hotel Utsav is an absolute gem for seafood lovers! We tried the Rawa Prawns, Rawa Silverfish, and Masala Ladyfish -- each dish was perfectly cooked, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The taste was truly outstanding and authentic. What made the experience even better was how pet-friendly the staff were -- they warmly accommodated our dog, which is rare to find and really appreciated. Though the place isn't very big, the food quality, hospitality, and overall experience easily make up for it. A must-visit spot if you love delicious seafood and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

Wonderfully fresh fish. We had the pomfret rava tava and the kane tawa fry, both of them were super tasty and on point on salt and spice, along with meals and some butter milk to wash all this down. You do not get the best of the ambience nor a place to park, all you are assured is some great quality food. Not for the hoity toity ones!! P.S. do ask the size of the fish and probably ask them to show coz when he says it's big, it's really really big!!

As travelers, we decided to stop here for Dinner after seeing the reviews, but honestly, the experience was disappointing. The taste of the food was quite average, yet the prices were shockingly high. For example, a tiny bowl of rice was charged at 100 which was not even sufficient for a child, and a tiny river fish at 250. Considering this is a village location, the pricing felt more like a star hotel than a local eatery. Overall, both the quality and value for money were not commendable, and we wouldn't recommend it to others.

Visited this place again after 3 years today. The food is exquisite, the taste is authentic and the fresh seafood just hits the spot. Definitely the best place for non-veg/seafood in Kumta.
