Tucked away in a bylane, can be accessed with a 2W, but anything big needs to parked on main road. A couple of plastic chair and a wooden bench is all for sitting, but who cares when the offerings are excellent. The owner welcomes everyone with a smile and the service is quick. Not too many options, but whatever we had, was a 5 star rated. To start with, a special Thatte idli with a sprinkle of pudi and ghee was given as the oil was being bought up to temperature for the Vada. The pudi tasted very different and was awesome to devour. By the time idly was finished, the hot vada made way. This tasted the way we do it at home. Crispy exterior with a dense inner filling. Pongal was the next to arrive and it was just awesome. The ghee on the top added to the taste and was done in no time. Well there was Ghee rice which will be tasted the next time for sure. The food was reasonably priced and the pocket didn't pinch when the bill came out. Recommend this place if you are in Kolar and i am going back for sure when time permits.
