Recently last week visiting Honnavar Fantastic and highly recommend place to visit in Honnavar backwater boating with incredible experience. Mangrove forest with lush green. great place to relax and enjoy nature ride. Mainly people visit to pre wedding photo shoot. Boat was well maintained. we paid rs.1000/- for 4 people for 1 hour ride. Early morning and evening around 5.30 is best time to have a boat ride.

We visited Honnavar recently and decided to go for the backwater boating with my wife and our 3-year-old daughter - and it turned out to be one of the best memories from our trip. The staff was very friendly, reassuring and made sure we were comfortable and even interacted with our daughter, which kept her engaged throughout the ride. The scenery is breathtaking - calm waters surrounded by coconut trees and mangroves, with the gentle breeze making it even more refreshing. The ride was smooth and peaceful, with no rush at all. It gave us time to relax, take pictures, and just soak in the beauty of the backwaters. Our daughter loved watching the birds and waving at other boats passing by - she kept laughing and clapping, which made the whole trip feel joyful. If you're traveling with kids, I would highly recommend this. It's safe, affordable, and a wonderful way to spend time together as a family. For us, this was not just a boat ride but a memory we'll cherish for a long time.

A good experience. Definitely worth doing. Morning and evening is the best time to do it as the weather is pleasant and your pictures will also look better. I paid 1200 for 2 people for 1 hour ride during long weekend time. You might get it cheaper during off-season.
