A way-side dhabha, stop only if you are very hungry. Filled with drinking crowd. Food taste is good. Service is good. Restroom maintenance is very bad. Not recommended for family and children.

We took a different road from Madikeri to Bangalore and there were no restaurants for more than half of the way. This was not the kind of place we would have preferred to go with the family, but had no choice. The food is ok, nothing great. The crowd was mostly drinkers. The facilities were very dirty. Stop only if you absolutely have to.

Mostly a dhaba kind of place with couple of huts and a big hall. As everyone says this place is filled with drinking crowd from local places. We were group of friends travelling from madikeri to Bangalore via chanraypatna and stumbled upon this based on recommendation from one our local friends. But was not disappointing actually. Had pretty much hood food with decent enough taste though. Not that expensive too. But since the place is mostly with drinking crowd, I wouldn't suggest you go with family( ladies and kids). But at the worst case to have food is not a bad place.
