Alibaba cafe and restaurant

We recently had Alibaba Cafe and Restaurant cater for our event, and it was an absolute delight. For the afternoon lunch, the buffet featured authentic Bhatkally biryani, onion kuchumber, stir-fried English veggies, and a refreshing tender coconut shot for dessert, along with fresh cut fruits, ice cream, and lime mint juice. Every dish was flavourful, fresh, and beautifully presented, perfectly balancing local taste with a touch of elegance. In the evening, we went for a live BBQ counter where a mix of Indian and Middle Eastern kebabs was served hot off the grill, accompanied by fresh pita bread, labneh, hummus, and toum dips. The smoky aroma, juicy kebabs, and authentic dips created a truly memorable dining experience. Our guests, many of whom were expats, were pleasantly surprised to find such high-quality, diverse cuisine in Bhatkal. Alibaba Cafe and Restaurant exceeded expectations both in food quality and service, proving that world-class catering is possible right here in our small town. Highly recommended!

One of the best biriyani place in Bhatkal, especially if you want to try Bhatkal Biriyani. Service is also very good. And the owner was very humble. He explained me the history behind Bhatkal Biriyani. Would definitely visit once again.

I went to Alibaba with high expectations but it turned out really disappointing: Biryani - Tasteless, no spice, too salty, and chicken felt like old frozen pieces. Drums of Heaven - Okayish Chicken Masala (250) - Overpriced and stale, couldn't eat after one bite. Campa Cola - MRP 20 but charged 30 (50% extra!). Chicken Fried Rice - Mid at best, tasteless, no spice..Felt like plain rice pretending to be chicken fried rice. Ambience - Below Average I even felt sick after eating their food. Overall: Poor food quality, overcharging on everything, and our birthday celebration was ruined. Don't blindly trust the positive Google reviews -- this place is NOT worth it

Alibaba Cafe and Restaurant in Bhatkal is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves diverse, flavorful food. Their menu covers everything from authentic Arabian and Persian dishes--like Mandi and hummus--to Turkish pide, Mexican tacos, and the standout Bhatkali Chicken Shaiyya Biryani. The salads are fresh, the chicken steak is delicious, and their Moroccan tea is a perfect finish. The atmosphere is cozy, prices are fair, and the staff always make you feel welcome. Best Mandi I ever had in India! Mandi has been my all time favorites however its hard to get the exact taste. While I was on vacation I found this gem. Here mandi tasted like actual Mandi and the taste is still unforgettable. We had ordered grilled fish as well which was fresh and perfectly seasoned! Call them prior visiting they dont do Mandi everyday! Hotel exterior isnt that great once we went back without entering looking at the exterior. They have arabic style floor seating arrangements which looked comfortable and fancy but the normal seating arrangements aren't that great. I would suggest them to focus bit more on ambiance and improve the cleanliness of gerneral areas!
