I recently had the opportunity to visit Om Sri Shivashakthi Tiffin Room, situated at 273, Bellary Road, Park View Layout, Bengaluru. This tiffin room operates from the basement level and unfortunately lacks a dedicated seating area; it features only a small bench that can accommodate about five to six people. Customers can enjoy their meals while standing outside or along the roadside. For those driving, there is a service road available for parking both bikes and cars. If you're inclined to sample a variety of dishes, I recommend opting for the mix tiffin. This includes any two items from their offerings--pulav, chitranna, uppittu, or tomato bath--along with one idly and one vada for a total cost of 60 INR. Should you prefer to select individual items instead, full portions are priced at 50 INR while half portions are available for 30 INR. A single idly is priced at 25 INR and two come at 50 INR. Additionally, a single vada costs just 10 INR. The taste of the food is quite commendable; it evokes the delightful flavors reminiscent of traditional Mysore-style dishes--particularly in the preparation of their bath and chutney varieties. If you find yourself on Bellary Road in Bangalore, it's worth trying out this culinary spot just once. The shop operates on a daily basis, welcoming customers from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, however, the hours are slightly reduced, with operations running from 7 AM to 11 AM. At noon each day, patrons can enjoy a selection of dishes that includes curd rice along with a couple of other rice-based items for lunch. It is important to note that the establishment does not provide comprehensive South Indian or North Indian meal options.
