Been visiting almost 7+ yrs and the taste still remains the same .. quite a busy during the normal breakfast time. Must try is idli which is soft and not sticky, puliyogre, udin vada and masal vada.. all are served here with red chilli chetni which is spicy, garlicy taste.
I am regular customer of this food joint. My favourite is Puliyogare and Uddin vada with lot of gatti chutney. Main attraction here is their chutney without that it tastes nothing. That's the reason they are very meagre about giving chutney for parcels. 2nd favourite is idli, vada and lot of chutney.
One of the decent breakfast in Geleyara balaga Locality. The stand out item for me personally is the crispy uddina vada & pulau they make. I feel they should ensure that the Idli they prepare should be a little more softer & as well not loose its outer layer when being removed from the plates of the steamer. If this is taken care then their idlis will be loved much more.
Rice used for all the rice bath is of poor quality even in indira canteen you will get better rice ..even in idli it should be the same owner needs to change his attitude to use such low quality rice see the comments section for your self if im not wrong . Maybe even other items are cheap quality to better tell the owner like me its ur health.
I personally see that they use top quality rice for idli and rice items. cleanliness matters there, watching closely by husband and wife duos. no dine in, parcel is advised, bachelor's and working people enjoy breakfast , eating standing on footpath.
