BN Sambaiah Shetty is one of those small eateries that surprises you with good food and hearty portions. I tried the pulao and idli. the pulao was very filling, and what really stood out for me was the chutney they serve, which added a lot of flavor to the meal. The idli with sambar was okayish, nothing extraordinary but decent for the price. The place itself is quite small, so seating is limited and not the most comfortable if you're planning to sit for long. However, the quick service and budget-friendly pricing make it worth a visit. Overall, it's great for taste and value, though not a place for ambiance. A good option if you're looking for a simple, pocket-friendly meal in the area. I will definitely visit again.

I really had a lot of expectations from this place due to a lot of hype on social media as well as in my foodie friend circle. So, obviously it was on my bucket list for a long time. Finally, this morning I visited this place and got a little disappointed. The main attraction of this place is Pulav and for me it tasted totally bland. There is no trace of any rich spices and there are bare minimum vegetables in the rice. It felt like some other flavour "chittranna" for me. Vada Curry on the other hand was decent but nothing like out of this world. The atmosphere was neat and clean. It's basically a self service restaurant with few branches inside and outside. Most of the people prefer to eat outside to avoid crowds inside. They have managed to keep a handwash facility with soap at the entrance which I really appreciate. The service is quick but they usually mis-prioritise as they served others who came after me first. Since it was not crowded much I didn't bother. They accept UPI & Cash payments. They have recently raised prices of main items in the menu by Rs.10. In my view you can give it a try but don't go with high expectations. -BeingBakasura

Visited here for their iconic veg. pulav It was served piping hot and taste was yum. Liked it. But, pulav quantity is on the lower side for the price. (50/-) Rest of the items are just okay. Vada curry here is much sought after here.

Old style iconic- tiny restaurant serving some amazing food!! Its a breakfast spot so need to hurry as they run out of food before 11! Their bread pulav is amazing!!!! Must try
