Sri Ram Sweets & SAFFRON BAKERY

It's a sweet shop just nearby hp petrol pump sonari, basically I think they are famous for sweets but I tried Chinese samosa whose taste was also good and fresh as I felt, but only things they can improve is maintain cleanliness where customer used to eat i.e. front area.

Sweetness: 3/5 While the sweetness level was adequate, it was overshadowed by the other shortcomings of the doughnut. Freshness: 1/5 Regrettably, the doughnut did not taste fresh, indicating potential issues with product rotation and storage practices at the bakery. Appearance: 4/5 On a more positive note, the doughnut's outer coating or glaze was visually appealing, demonstrating some attention to presentation. Hygiene: 1/5 One of the most concerning aspects of my visit was the lack of proper hygiene practices. The bakery staff handled the doughnuts with their **bare hands**, without the use of tongs or gloves, leading to potential contamination. Overall Experience: 2/5 Unfortunately, my experience at Saffron Bakery fell short of expectations. The disappointing quality of the doughnut combined with hygiene concerns detracted significantly from what should have been a pleasant visit. There ain't many *Vegetarian Bakeries* in the city. Brown Bunch is one and my favourite. But Saffron is trying to put up a competition on this race. I visited soon after it opened and I have to appreciate they have maintained the standard high enough. The Rum Ball I had was total bliss and the Paneer Veg Roll (idk what it was called) was actually worth the price.

This shop offers adequate varieties of bengali sweets as well as gujrati sweets. Quality is also nice. Stuffs are responsive. Usually crowded.

The selection of sweets there is amazing and not to forget the Dahi Bhalla they make there is truly awesome. I tried this new sweet there, they call it Malai Cream Chop along with my favourite Lengcha. The taste was completely out of this world. The Malai Cream Chop was not at all that heavy and rich as it looks, rather it was very light & very well balanced in sweetness. Would highly recommend that you must try this at Sri Ram Sweets.
