I visited this place after 13 years. The food is still delicious as it was then. They serve with love and serve you till your belly is full. They serve unlimited thali platter with many vegitable curries, dal, aaloo vada, piping hot dhokla, salad, assorted chutnies, unlimited butter milk, rice & jalebees. We a group of four paid Rs 880 (@220). Service is efficient. Ambience is guite simple & clean (coz it is a dining hall). Highly recommended if one visits Mandvi.
My best experience of the overall trip that I will remember for much long and will recommend all as must visit. The food is top notch and the service is commendable and very warm welcoming. The restaurant is at a walkable distance from the nearest square and no cars can go that deep.
Amazing experience at OSHO Hotel, Mandvi! The taste of the food is simply amazing--just like home-cooked meals. The people here are incredibly cooperative and friendly; they genuinely care about your experience and even insist on serving you more food, just like at home! The place is spotless and extremely clean, which adds to the overall comfort. I've never seen such hospitality at any restaurant before. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mandvi!
A (Too Well) Hidden Gem On a friend's recommendation, we stopped here for lunch. After parking on the main road, we had to walk through narrow, downmarket lanes to get inside the walled part of old town. I warned my friend, "This place better be worth all this." And it was! Authentic Gujarati cuisine, served hot by the owners insisting you eat more, displaying traditional Gujarati hospitality. After stuffing us with genuine concern and generous helpings, one of them admonished me for eating too little! The place is small and noisy, but it exudes a loving vibe and the old world charm that's so rare these days. To top it all is the price, only 200 per person for an unlimited thali. Amazing! Do give it a shot.
