Famous place in Margao, Goa for breakfast and plenty of local delicacies. Tato's is the GoTo place for many locals and tourist every morning for a sumptuous tasty breakfast. Stick to local stuff and they have even the widely sold Puri Aloo also done in a very localised manner. Do try their different offerings. Pui Aloo, Ragi Cake, Mirchi Bhaji and lovely tea is must try. They offer wide varieties of bhajis (pakode), really worth trying. Service is quick and staff is very helpful, suggesting what could be the good options given your preference.

We tried their Rava Masala Dosa and Samosa with Tea, and everything was served hot and fresh. The dosa had a nice crisp texture, and the potato masala was well-prepared. The samosa was also decent--crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. The tea was the perfect companion to the snacks. Also gave their Shev Puri a try, and it was surprisingly good--flavourful, tangy, and fresh, with just the right balance of crunch and spice. It added a nice variety to the overall experience. While the food quality is consistent, there's room for improvement in both taste and service, especially during busier hours. Some dishes feel like they could use a little more attention to detail in flavor. Overall, Cafe Tato is a dependable spot for a simple, satisfying vegetarian meal--ideal for breakfast, tea-time snacks, or a light lunch. For a more peaceful experience, try visiting during off-peak hours. A solid option if you're looking for authentic Goan vegetarian bites at a reasonable price.

A lovely place to try out authentic Goan dishes. Food's quite tasty and very affordable. The ambiance is more suited to the budget. Dining place is AC. The service is prompt and staffs polite.

My review is of the non-veg section on the 3rd floor. Having undergone a small reno, the place is nicely spruced up and has a good vibe. Overlooking the highway and green fields beyond is pleasant while sampling their delicious fare on offer. We tried several dishes and each and every one hit the mark. The biryanis are superb and each very different from the other. The fish is always fresh and varies daily in the thali option. The wait staff are polite and offer recommendations and updates on the menu. This is a lovely place to go with the family and have a tasty meal. As there aren't many tables, the feeling of a more intimate dining experience is assured. Parking can be challenging during peak hours but the security on site does a decent job of finding one a parking spot.

We had visited this place for lunch. The location is quite central and easy to find near south goa collectorate, has space for parking and a security who will guide you. During peak hours, the cafe gets very crowded. Restaurant is clean and simple. They have variety of classic north Indian and Goan vegetarian dishes. We had veg manchow soup, baby corn chilli and veg kadai with naan. Food was good.
