Bhimavaram Town

A very clean and tidy railway station that serves as one of the two major stops for the town of Bhimavaram, it offers great connectivity to other towns and villages in West Godavari and is located centrally in the western part of Bhimavaram.

Bhimavaram town railway station is located at centre of the town. As soon as we come out of station Road connectivity is there towards Ganapavaram, Tadepalligudem, Juvvalapalem, Eluru. In 10 to 15 minutes we can reach to BV RAJU campus, SRKR engineering college, DNR Autonomous College. The station platform is extended and modified. Two platforms are present. Lift facility is available on both sides of platforms. There is halt for almost all express trains which pass through this station. Many passenger trains towards Vijaywada, Rajamundry,etc pass through this station.

Ticketing staff is very rude they give wrong tickets sometimes so check your tickets before leaving counter. trains to Bangalore Chennai Mumbai stops in this station only don't go to bhimavaram junction for these trains if you want to go to bus stand you will get autos from railway station or if you walk few meters you will get buses to bus stand. For snacks canteen is there in platform they sell for mrp only or if you go out side railway station you can see so many shops.

the railway station is good in terms of cleaning of tracks and other departments... It's very near from bhimavaram multiplux .. It has two plat forms ..1 and 2 .. The station has a waiting hall here for both general and AC/sleeper classes are separate ...it has also has all facilities outside railway station like autos ..residency ..hotels ...rooms etc

One of my favourite whery cleaned and well maintained.. And it's located at centre of city so every traveller easily got transport availability.. The staff who are working there was very helpful.. Bathrooms are not cleaned And I think they need to improve the platforms for giving more comfortable journey to passenger's.. #Lovebhimavaram
