Mallikarjuna Sadan

Mallikarjun Sadan is a government guest house. We could not get reservation for a single room, but for a suite. We had the worst experience of sorts. The location shared was wrong and map took us to a different location. After wasting one hour we were guided to enquiry office, and then to the Mallikarjun Sadan. We were extremely tired of the long journey and then such an unexpected welcome! The manager at the reception was extremely rude to answer any questions or information. They made us pay one days rent as security, despite the advance payment already being made. We were handed key to the room. Room was big with an outer room with double bed and two sofa, main bedroom had three beds. All taps of bathrooms and WC were either broken or flush was non functional. They had staff but not keen to even take upto the room on first floor with almost 30 steps to climb with luggage, but expecting a good tip. I would strongly recommend Not to stay at this place, although it's near the temple. A private hotel could have been a better option instead of this place at 1780 Rs a night for a place like Sri Srisailam. The place was well lit and well ventilated but I did not find many people staying.

Recently stayed in a Devasthanam AC room during my visit to Srisailam. They charged 1200 for the stay and took another 1200 as a refundable deposit, which was returned at checkout without any issues. The rooms are spacious, which was a plus, but unfortunately, the cleanliness and hygiene were not up to the mark. There was no remote provided for either the AC or the TV, and we had to manage just with the power switch. Even more disappointing was that the AC wasn't functioning properly. We raised a complaint, but no one responded or came to fix it, which was quite frustrating, especially after paying for an AC room. Overall, while the room size and basic facilities were okay, maintenance and service need a lot of improvement. It could be a decent budget stay if the management puts more effort into upkeep and responsiveness. Right now, it's just okay for a quick overnight stop, but don't expect much comfort.

Spacious AC rooms with two cots. Rs. 1200/- for room and 1200 as caution money per day. But there is no lift, which will be difficult for elderly people. Very near to the temple and walkable distance to several food joints. Bus stop is about 1km. You can get autos to any place in Srisailam for 20/head. Advance booking is recommended via temple website.

The Satram was awesome. The room was pretty decent and good-looking. Food is provided in the satram and it is quite tasty. The satram was very clean. Coming to the prices,it was 1500 per day. You will have to deposit 2000 and while leaving if you show the receipt, they will return 500. For me,it was worth every rupee.

Best hotel in Shree shailam . All of facilities are fabulous their staff and room are very neat and clean and size of room is very big for family . The breakfast , lunch and dinner are totally free and best quality of south dishes . Campus area are too big and fully vantilated . So I will give 5 star rating
