I recently visited Sri Valiveti Grand Restaurant in Nuzvid and would like to share a concern regarding their beverage pricing practices. We ordered four 200ml Thums Up glass bottles, each marked with an MRP of 10. To our surprise, we were charged 20 per bottle, and the bill incorrectly listed them as 300ml bottles. When I questioned this, a staff member (a lady who served us) explained that the restaurant charges extra due to air-conditioned seating and ambience. Doubling the price of a pre-packaged drink and misrepresenting its volume on the bill is misleading and, in my opinion, violates fair trade practices. The MRP is legally binding, and any additional charges should be transparently stated and not arbitrarily applied to packaged goods. I've also attached the bill as proof for reference.
