Hotel Design & Ambience: The design and decor of the hotel are fantastic -- truly impressive and well thought out. Service Experience: However, the team was a complete disappointment. If you ever visit Svenska Kakinada, take a look at the restaurant manager's blazer -- it's literally torn at the back, and he's wearing it just like that! Their sales manager, too, was short, overweight, and above all, extremely lazy. I asked multiple times about their annual membership, and he showed zero interest in selling it. Facilities & Maintenance: In the gym, there wasn't even a single bottle of drinking water available, while the ACs were dripping all over the floor. They even charged 600 just to send cutlery to the room -- unbelievable! The whole place felt like it was run by people who take pleasure in overcharging and restricting guests at every step. Management Suggestion: Svenska's management really needs to bring in a new, energetic team and redefine hospitality at this property. The hotel itself has potential -- it's a decent place with good design and fair location -- but the team's attitude ruins the entire experience. Give one dynamic person a free hand, and this property can easily rise again. Don't squeeze the few guests who do come just because others aren't. Pamper your guests, and I'm sure this hotel will see a turnaround soon.

We recently visited this hotel and found it to be decent in terms of ambiance and service. However, we felt that the prices were steep, particularly when it came to food and accommodation. Our meal, which consisted of 2 starters, 1 curry, 1 biryani (all veg dishes), cost us 5,000, which seemed excessive. One major issue we faced was with the water quality. The water was too salty and not fit for use, even for basic purposes like brushing teeth. We had to resort to using mineral water, which added to our expenses. Given the hotel's 4/5-star rating, we expected better attention to this aspect. Overall, while the hotel has its strengths, the pricing and water quality issues detracted from our experience.

The hotel's facilities, including the infinity pool and fully equipped fitness center, were top-notch and meticulously maintained. What truly sets this hotel apart is the personalized care--whether it was the concierge securing last-minute reservations or the housekeeping team's thoughtful touches, I felt genuinely valued. I highly recommend Svenska Design Hotel for anyone seeking a luxurious, unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return!

I had a wonderful stay at Svenska design hotel.The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable. The location is ideal -- close to restaurants, shopping, and transport. I especially loved the breakfast buffet -- so many fresh options! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
