Visited this along with my relatives when I recently visited Kakinada. A very old hotel run by a family, serving traditional Andhra tiffins. All the tiffins here are absolutely very tasty, served with three chutneys, sambar and podi. They use too much oil unless you request them to use less. Please do not expect the place to be clean and hygienic. Also the place is too small and conjusted with a seating of around 10 chairs. Overall tasty food available here.
Shankar Narayana Hotel is a culinary gem! The authentic Pesarattu Upma and dosa are a must-try; they redefine deliciousness. While other dishes are just okay, the real stars are the Pesarattu Upma and dosa, complemented by five delightful chutney varieties. Don't judge by the location or ambience; the taste is what makes this place exceptional. A must-visit for a flavorful experience!
More than 50 years old hotel, Mr. Shankar Narayana is the owner name, now his son is taking care of quality breakfast, We must try hot served ghee idli with 4 varities of chutney and sambar and Pesarattu upma with green chilli, ginger, onions and ghee spread on top
They were adding some other ingredients on Masaladosa, and it is worst taste, too worst. But idly was good
Good taste and reasonable price, decent service. Worth waiting for food though it may take a while for ur order. Small place. May get crowded during peak hours
