Mahaprabhu Hotel is located on Tamluk Srirampur Road, in front of Tamluk Ghatal Central Bank, near Tamluk Court, near Bargabhima Mandir. This place is not so modern. But trust me, you will like it. We recently visited this place. The place was literally very crowded. We had veg thali. And the taste of each and every dish was just fabulous. They even served Payes, which was out of this world. Every one should try their food at least once in their life.
I recently visited Mahaprabhu Hotel in Tamluk. In breakfast_ Cha, biscuit, karochi, cholar dal ruti, and sweet - overall quite good and satisfying. In lunch_ Mainly vegetable thali - the quality and taste have slightly decreased compared to earlier. Sometimes, certain vegetable dishes are not available after 1 PM. However, service needs improvement. Occasionally, the staff miss serving items like chutney, papad, or payesh, which are normally included. With a little more attention to consistency and service, this place can easily regain its earlier good reputation.
It's a very good hotel for the beginners. And their food is better. And last thing food is good for the money
I visited this hotel for vegetarian food, but my experience was very disappointing. They did not inform us beforehand that one of the sabjis was out of stock. After we had already started eating, they mentioned that they only had dal, aloo vanga, and another sabji available. Later, when we asked for a refill, they said the other sabji was also finished. It's very unprofessional that they didn't mention the unavailability of dishes before taking our order. On top of that, the staff were rude and tried to defend themselves instead of accepting their mistake. Overall, very poor service and disappointing behaviour.
Very affordable vegetarian food. There are two floors. On the ground floor you get breakfast (such as Puri, Ruti, Cholar Dal etc.), on the first floor lunch is available.
