Panthashala Restaurant is a well-established restaurant in Rampurhat, known for serving a wide range of Bengali, North Indian, and South Indian cuisines. They have two outlets, one located on the main road and a newer one just behind it, accessible through a nearby lane. The interiors are nicely done, and the seating area accommodates around 30 guests approx. The restaurant is especially popular for its South Indian offerings, including various types of dosas, idlis, chaats, and more all of which are delicious. However, the main drawback is the overwhelming crowd, which the management struggles to handle efficiently. It's common for people to hover around tables, waiting for others to finish, which can be quite uncomfortable. The small waiting area doesn't help much, and in some cases, guests may even have to share tables with strangers. While the food quality is commendable, a pleasant dining experience also requires a comfortable and well-managed environment. I would strongly urge the management to improve crowd control and enhance the overall ambience. Despite this issue, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and would recommend it, with the hope that the dining experience will improve over time.
