I tried the Butter Masala Dosa and dahi vada. The masala dosa was medium sized and the we had asked for a good amount of the aloo masala because they give very little masala otherwise. The dosa was extremely thin and crispy almost like paper. The price of masala dosa was around 140 bucks. The dahi vada was great, 2 big sized vadas with lots of imli chutney. Dahi vada tasted really good. The price of the vadas were 110-120 per plate. Everything about the hotel reminded of a traditional South Indian restaurant. The small seating areas, seats placed close to each other. Very selective menu, the people from south and the taste. It's nice to see a typical South Indian restaurant in the city.

Tried Some Delicious South Indian Foods From Madras Tiffin, Town School, Hatibagan..... Masala Dosa, Special Uttapam, Dahi Vada & Falooda Kulfi Every Items are Fantastic, serves hot and pocket friendly too..... Space is Little bit cozy .but that's not matter if there is fantastic food .... Love to visit again Review - 5/5 #recommended

One of the most famous place for South Indian food in Kolkata. It is situated just below the Hatibagan arsalan (though it was there in the same place long before arsalan came). You can get over 200 types of dosas here along with other authentic South Indian foods. Also their kulfi is a must try. It is a small narrow place. But do not go with looks, it is heaven for dosa lovers.
