Nice home style food. Best option for students. It's a night canteen in B.C Roy hostel of IIT Kgp. One will definitely like the friendly behaviour and nice food of Swadesh da. Hunger saviour. Price is also reasonable.

Takes time to place the order (especially for roti). The owner is a bit arrogant so I usually avoid going there . If you are not from BC Roy hall then eating after 9.30pm is not allowed as per the notice stick on the wall there. Food taste is fine.

It is the night canteen of BC Roy Hall of Residence run by Swadesh Da. Affordable and quality food is available here. You can have tea, snacks and dinner. The prices are regulated as per HMC rates.

The food tastes good but the behaviour of the canteen owner is very obnoxious. He has to learn how to treat the customer politely and respectfully.

Very much cheaper food available compared to other places in Kgp campus. Being a Bengali, I love to take dinner from this place as they provide Bengali types of food.
