It's an average restaurant. Food is extremely cheap, yet it is up to the mark. The seating area is comfortable. The menu has a large series of food items. It is good for quick bites. The staff are well behaved. The management is very good too. The place is not that tidy, but for that price, you don't expect anything more. Overall, it's a value for money restaurant.
Visited with son and his room mates for dinner. Not worth. Half of the menu was not available, food served was not hot, sloppy service just not worth. A/C was not working. I suggest parents coming from outside to avoid this place. There are much better places inside campus.
There was a DEAD COCKROACH inside the chicken biriyani I ordered from Dreamland restaurant (IIT Kharagpur campus). On complaining, they rudely denied their mistake and accused me that I was trying to defame them instead of refunding or apologizing.
The restaurant is located inside IIT Kharagpur campus. So if you are here in the campus for some work or student you have limited choice for food. Keeping in view that its inside campus and meant to cater to the needs of students. The food I say is quite average. The taste is just about okay. However the quantity is perhaps on a lesser side keeping in view the cost they charge. Ambience is just okay. They both inside and outside / garden sitting facility. Inside is air-conditioned ( though cooling is questionable). The also got takeaway option. The service is pathetic, you may have to wait for long if you won't order in one go. We have chicken tikka masala and Biryani.
Served stale food. They themselves say, if the served food is not warm, they will heat it up and serve! Tandoori roti served was the last piece and when I asked them to bring fresh tandoori roti, they said tandoor is not fired now! One member of family got fever and stomach upset after eating here. Please stop serving stale and unhealthy food inside IIT campus The authorities need to take note of this
