We were visiting from Durgapur and had a decent experience in terms of food and general service. However, what shocked us was the behavior of the owner himself, who was sitting at the reception desk. He demanded 5 extra over the MRP 15 for a small cup of branded Dahi. When we questioned it, he casually dismissed our concern--as if overcharging customers was normal. This is not only illegal but also highly unethical, especially when coming directly from the person running the establishment. Such practices create a negative impression of Birbhum district for visitors. It's disappointing to see good food and service overshadowed by this kind of attitude and malpractice. Hope the local authorities take note and the management understands that trust and honesty matter just as much as taste.
