I have tried lots of different restaurants in and outside of Rishikesh and in different areas of India and I have to say that the food at Baba Taraknath Tiffin service is truly outstanding and amazing! If you want to taste heaven, order food at this place. Honestly, I enjoyed every single bite of the food that was delivered to me daily at the times I asked for. Best service, amazing taste and very friendly staff. I highly recommend!!

Oh my god...these were the first words that I uttered after having my first bite of food here. I ordered the paneer thali that consisted of a paneer sabzi, masoor dal, rice, 4 rotis and salad. I also ordered a masala papad on the side. Everything was exceptional. Clean, fresh, well prepared, tasty...outstanding. The masala papad was one of the best that I've had across the country. If you're looking for tasty, simple Indian home food...look no further. This place has the best Indian food I've eaten in Uttarakhand. Reminded me of home and my mum's food. Soul satisfying meal! The owner and service staff were kind and attentive. More people need to visit this place and support them. Unfortunately, I ate it all before I could take any photos.

I've been ordering from Baba Taraknath Tiffin Service for a while now, and I've been consistently impressed. The food always arrives hot, fresh, and on time. The portions are generous, and it's homemade, with quality that's steady day after day. The packaging is neat, and the delivery is reliable. This place is amazing!!! I can highly recommend their thali tiffin lunch delivery, as well as their non-thali dining options. TIFFIN: You can order tiffin for lunch, dinner, or both, and they offer a daily and a monthly package. The thali is delicious, healthy, well seasoned but not too spicy, and very generous portions -- I was only able to eat half of it for lunch, I had to save the rest for later! HOURS: Per the owner, "For lunch you can get it from 1pm to 2.30pm, and for dinner 7pm to 10pm." To visit their restaurant, the hours are: "Morning 8.30am we open, and we will close 10.30 pm at night. Sometimes we take a break between 3pm to 5pm." CAFE: I've tried some of their non-thali dishes and can vouch for the paneer dosa, veg noodle, and sweet lassi all being incredible. And the vibes are excellent, with multiple levels and seating options: upstairs street level seating in the sunshine, and a more cozy nature setting downstairs. POSITIVE VIBES: I saved the best for last: the owners, Subrata Dey and Barnali, are such kind, compassionate people! They are so friendly, sweet, and happy to accommodate their customers' dietary preferences and restrictions. They truly cook with love, and you can tell with every bite. I've been taking their tiffin service for over 4 months now and this is an honest review. The food is always authentic, pure, healthy, and cooked with love. They are 100% veg, affordable, flexible with timings, and the owner himself is very humble and handles everything with care. Consistency and quality have never disappointed me. Truly, they put their heart and soul into this service. Highly recommend them to anyone in Tapovan, you can trust them blindly!
