A run-of-the-mill restaurant with zero ambience. It's a sweet shop-cum-restaurant, specializing in pure vegetarian food. The masala dosa I ordered was fairly average, not even sizzling hot either, though I was the only customer. The samosa was again average, though hot. The Bengali sweet was fairly tasteless as well. The restaurant looks tacky through and through. The only plus point is, it has a washroom. A rarity in Nainital restaurants.

The food quality and taste was great. I tried there samosa chaat, Shahi Thali, Veg tukpa, steam momos and for dessert gulab jamun Bal mithai which is famous in nainital and rasmalai. If you are a vegetarian go for this restaurant. The only problem is there if you order Thali then there is no refilling of veggies and curry.
If you're looking for tasty and satisfying food, this is the best place to visit as their dishes are absolutely delicious. We ordered the chole bhature, dosa, and dinner thali, and everything was perfect and flavorful. The staff is very polite, and if you want to add something like extra salt or spice, they will accommodate your request. In Nanjital, it's the best place to visit for great food and taste. We keep going back again and again for all our meals--breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
The food was tasty and the portions were satisfying. It's a nice place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I especially enjoyed the South Indian dishes -- they were delicious and worth trying!
