I dined in at their restaurant where we ordered soup and momos. Noodles with soup were soggy and there were live cockroaches in the momos container. There was no shame on the restaurant staff face and they just took the food away without any apology. Avoid their dine in at all costs
Cons This property is located in the main area that is on the mall road mussoorie This property offers restaurant and stay option with live music but it goes till 1 am or more which might be uncomfortable for family and you will hear the music in the room also even the doors are lock. The rooms are not soundproof and you can smell the food smell in the room also. The rooms are okay but they need to work on the washroom cleanliness. Prons The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. Their hospitality was top-notch-the staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of Dehradun city from the restaurant, which made our dining experience even more special. The ambiance, combined with the scenic beauty, made it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. If you're in Mussoorie and looking for a fantastic dining experience, I highly recommend Whispering Windows. A must-visit for a great time
"The potato, practically unknown in India before its introduction in the nineteenth century, was soon to become a popular and vital ingredient of so many Indian dishes. The humble aloo made life much more interesting for chefs, housewives, gourmands, and gourmets'- Ruskin Bond, Roads to Mussoorie. A great place to have Aloo paratha and Jeera aloo is Whispering Windows restaurant right on the Mall road The restaurant is located right on the mall near the library end. You can have a nice meal while gazing at the tourists from the first floor. It serves typical North Indian fare. The thali is quite filling. Also recommended is their butter nan and paneer pasanda. We have been visiting this lovely restaurant for more than 15 years now and it is interesting to see how the facade has changed over the years
Worst experience ....naa service achi naa hi taste .not worth it for a single penny...they don't even know how to treat their customers, no one is concerned about the order placed by us.....i ordered mysore masala dosa there it was horrible in taste ..i would suggest others not to visit whispering windows .
Wen there last month , what an excellent food and hospitality. Met the owner last month , got to be of my dad's senior of school still unknown though but the kindness and welcoming nature he had. The owner and staff all are super friendly and fast in service. We had only 2 days and we went on both the days to the restaurant for their food . Recommended my friends too to visit their as they are in travel to mussoorie.
