Hotel Forest View & Restaurant by Ginseng Hotels

Hi stayed in this hotel for my mussoorie trip with my family. I have my views for this hotel as given below:- 1) The hotel location is very good and the view is incredible. 2) The hotel room does not actually have a private balcony room. It is shared by 2 or 3 rooms. 3) Rooms are also not good as per the google rating. Average room available there. 4) Food is not tasty and the variety is also not well. The sweet dish is the saddest part.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Mussoorie and had a disappointing experience. Key issues: 1. Bad Odour:The room had a foul smell. When we complained, they just sprayed room freshener, which didn't solve the problem. 2. Inconvenient Amenities: The kettle was useless without a hot plate. 3. Lack of Menu Variety:The same dishes, including potato sabzi, were served daily for both breakfast and dinner. The only positive aspect was the view, but given Mussoorie's stunning landscapes, it's expected. Recommendation:The hotel needs to work on room cleanliness, amenities, and menu diversity to improve guest experience.

1) Stay Experience: Entry was done in check in register. As per booking and show pictures on MakeMyTrip.com delux room should be with window and balcony but in reality hotel offered dirty room without any window for cross ventilation and balcony. Inside the room there were mosquitoes and a bad odour.. Bedding was not hygienic. You can ask the hotel to provide CCTV footage to understand in which room they have kept luggage. Unfortunately the hotel has not allowed me to click pics and videos to share with the MakeMyTrip team . It seems business ethics concern and lack of professionalism of staff. 2) Food Quality:- Prior to taking keys of the room. We had food in their restaurant. Food quality was not good . Provided Roti's were not fresh .

Had booked this property for a holiday through Country club. This place is pathetic and horrendous. Rooms are small and dingy, no window forget about the view. The whole place was shabby including the dining area The staff were unkempt and untrained. Although we paid for our stay in advance we didn't stay here but stayed at another property. We didn't want to be holed up in a prison like room which even had bad odour. Not sure how they are an associated property of country club.. no photos of this god forsaken place.

The hotel is located a bit away from main area, but has got amazing view. Try booking room with balcony for a better experience. Food was delicious and served hot. Since we traveled with our toddler, we asked for kettle multiple times, but they never provided us. Basic amenities in room could be better.
