Overlooking the expansive landscape of Dalai Hills, Cafe Anahita is a go-to space for a peaceful spot with good food and great views. Conveniently located in the heart of Mussoorie, the cafe offers a diverse menu with Tibetan, Chinese, and Continental options. We began our meal with the Cottage Cheese Steak, a well-composed dish featuring grilled cottage cheese topped with a flavourful mushroom sauce, served alongside creamy mashed potatoes, sauteed vegetables, and a slice of garlic bread. The textures were well-balanced, and the mushroom sauce added depth to an otherwise familiar dish. The Steamed Chicken Momos were soft and juicy, accompanied by a classic chilli dipping sauce. While not groundbreaking, they delivered on taste and comfort. To drink, we tried the Virgin Mint Mojito, which was refreshing and perfectly suited to the crisp mountain air. The Ginger Lemon Honey Tea was soothing and warm, ideal for a late afternoon break. For dessert, the Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake stood out. Creamy and not overly sweet, it struck the right balance and ended the meal on a high note.
