I recently visited Momomia Restaurant, which appeared to be a new and well-maintained establishment. The seating arrangements were commendable, providing a comfortable environment. However, I must admit that the service left much to be desired. Upon being seated, there was no proactive approach from the staff to assist us with our order. To my surprise, it was only later that I discovered customers were expected to approach the counter to place their orders, a practice that wasn't particularly pleasing. It was apparent that the service was being managed by a lone staff member, which likely contributed to the lackluster experience. Now, turning to the cuisine, I opted for a chicken roll. Unfortunately, the dish was a disappointment; the taste was off, to the extent that I couldn't consume more than a single bite. I reluctantly left the remainder untouched on the plate. Strangely, even though I didn't finish the dish, the manager or staff member didn't inquire about the quality of the food or my satisfaction. On a slightly more positive note, I also tried the veg roll, which was relatively palatable. It seems they have some potential in their vegetarian offerings. However, the overall dining experience was marred by the subpar service and the unsatisfactory chicken roll. There is a clear need for improvement in terms of customer engagement and culinary skills. I'm willing to give Momomia another chance in the future, perhaps after some time has passed, to see if they have taken steps to rectify their service issues and enhance their menu. I wish them the best of luck in addressing these concerns and hope to witness a positive transformation during my next visit.
