Village Tiffins

A decent South Indian eat out in what I can say is a secluded area. It's inside a drive in with good options of South Indian tiffins.

Excellent taste and wonderful staff. Loved sambar idly and kheema dosa.

Had early morning breakfast here. This place is a drive-inn. Pros: The only store which is open from 7am is Village Tiffins. Guys who work here are responsible and deliver good service. Taste - was good and so is the quantity. Chutneys are good and Sambhar could be better. I would recommend to use paper plates instead of plastic ones. Needs more cleaning. Cons: Toilets are horrible. No proper maintenance. Price for a plate Idly is >80/- and ghee idli is 120/- . Felt expensive for a drive-inn. Early mornings you would find it peaceful sitting under the tree and having your breakfast.

Poori was a heap of crisp flakes, chutney had no salt with chunks of unmashed coconut pieces, sambar was tamarind juice, aloo curry in a semi solid dry state was the accompaniment for the sad disappointing thing called pooris. Never again.

Been there by 7am and waited till 8:15am. Even then, the food was still being prepared. Pathetic experience. Will never visit again. Prices are pretty high by drive-in standards.
